“Fantastic Stay at Bella Mere Lodge"We recently stayed at Bella Mere Lodge and honestly couldn’t fault it. The lodge was spotlessly clean, modern, and really well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The open-plan living area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the beds were super comfortable.
The outdoor decking area was a lovely bonus – great for sitting out with a coffee in the morning or unwinding after a day out.
The location is ideal too, with stunning views and just a short drive to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe.
We also really appreciated how pet-friendly it was, which made the trip even better for us.
Everything felt easy, stress-free, and well thought out.
Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in North Devon!

“Great Place to Stay Whilst Working Away"Great place to stay while working away. Stayed at Bella Mere Lodge while working in the area and couldn’t have asked for a better setup.
The lodge was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything needed after a long day on site. Plenty of space to relax, good WiFi, and a proper kitchen which made it easy to cook rather than eat out every night.
The beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet, so no issues getting a good night’s sleep.
Parking right outside was a big plus, especially with tools and equipment.
The location is ideal too – easy access to nearby towns and jobs.
Overall, a really convenient and comfortable place to stay for anyone working away. Would definitely use again.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly thought out. The lodge was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — a real home-away-from-home.
The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful and scenic, yet close to everything we wanted to explore. It was the perfect base for discovering the best of Devon.
A huge bonus was how dog-friendly it was. Our four-legged friend settled in immediately and loved having plenty of space, both inside and out. It made the whole trip even more enjoyable knowing our dog was just as welcome as we were.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Beautiful lodge, great location, and truly pet-friendly — highly recommended.

“Exceptional - would definitely book again!"Had a short stay here.
The Lodge has all that you need! spacious, very clean, Beds very comfortable.
Two bathrooms which came in very handy!
There's an enclosed outside area which is handy for the kids and dogs!
The people are very friendly.
It's close to llfracombe Harbour and shops. A must see!!!
Beaches and national parks are all near by too.
Would highly recommend.

“Recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway."I had the most delightful stay at Bella Mere Lodge.
As someone who prefers not to drive too much these days, I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient the public transport links were. Getting around was so easy, with buses nearby that made visiting the surrounding towns and coastline completely stress-free.
The lodge itself is set within the most beautiful countryside—peaceful, green, and wonderfully calming. I spent many mornings simply sitting outside with a cup of tea, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the views across the park. It truly felt like a little escape from the hustle and bustle.
Inside, everything was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a real home away from home. I felt safe, relaxed, and very well looked after throughout my stay.
I would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bella Mere Lodge to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway with easy access to explore the area
